it's a good thing to give Thanks to the Lord

Good morning Jesus

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the LORD. This is good for two reasons especially. The first is that God is worthy of thanksgiving and praise. He alone is the LORD, the sovereign all-glorious God. The Lord made all things for the glory of His own name. He formed His people in order that they might show forth His praises. We show forth God's praise when we humbly and joyfully and thankfully acknowledge the Lord as our God and give Him thanks for all things. We give thanks when before our families, in His church and before the world, we tell of the wonderful works of the Lord. Thanksgiving is good because this is the purpose for which the Lord has redeemed us.

It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord, and to sing praises unto Thy name, O most High: To shew forth thy lovingkindness in the morning, and thy faithfulness every night. Psalm 92:1,2.

Saturday Blues and something to think about

My very good friend Halima was talking about Makeover.
there is a need for us all to think, dig deep and utilize our potential to the maximum.

According to Halima - a fellow Graphic Design Artist,

People go through stages in life, and i feel like a tidal wave is here to transfrom me from a Girl into a Woman. In life i have realized that we are allowed to make mistakes, so far we learn great lessons from them. Believe me, i have learned, and i am eagerly ready to move to the next chapter of my life. Of course there will be obstacles, and there will be people out there to drag me back to the starting point, or divert my attention from my goals. That is not going to happend due to the fact that i have started a solid foundation that is made from bricks, and not straw. There will be haters, and there will supporters,so its up to you to choose your position!!!

i think making or doing that makeover is now. like absolutely needed and am in support not just for you my dear friend Halima but for me and us all.

Are you aware of what's happening right now? Are you fully living and experiencing this life that you have? Or do you put so much energy into analyzing every detail and worrying about every move that there's no time left to simply and gloriously be?

Are you striving so earnestly to get ahead that all the effort is putting you more and more behind? Is your life so totally defined by what you need to do that you've lost sight of who you are?There is so much you can let go of, without really losing a thing. It is when you stop merely trying that you can truly be.

This moment is filled with magnificent possibilities, and this moment is when you can bring the best of them to life. Let go of those burdens you really don't need, and open yourself to the beauty of now. let's get that Makeover
